Set Up Your Track Stack
Open a new project and create the tracks you use most often, such as a vocal chain, a drum kit, and a synth. Name and color-code them.
Prepare Your Routing and FX
Configure your Mixer by creating 'Buses' for common effects like Reverb and Delay. This saves time on routing later in the mix process.
Save the Template File
Go to File > Save as Template. Give your template a clear name like 'Vocal Demo' or 'Electronic Start.'
Store in the Correct Folder
Choose a location. Logic defaults to a specific 'Project Templates' folder; keep it there so it appears in the template browser.
